The service

SpearfishOS is a personal logbook for dives and catches, currently in development. The features actually offered are those of the installed build and its release notes. This website does not sell subscriptions and takes no payment.

Discovery

The free plan includes the details of the last three sessions, five catches and three spots. Catches and spots already saved remain viewable and editable according to the logbook's features, including after Pro expires. Raw export remains available without a subscription.

SpearfishOS Pro

An optional yearly subscription includes the full history, catches and spots without commercial limits, advanced filters, statistics and export with copies of photos. Physical storage on the device remains limited. It includes neither cloud backup nor a printed yearbook. Purchases are not open yet; the planned price in France is €29.99/year. The local price, applicable taxes and terms shown by Apple before confirmation prevail.

Once available, the subscription will renew automatically and be paid through your Apple Account. Renewal must be cancelled before its due date according to Apple's terms. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not delete your logbook data. Restoring and managing the subscription are available from the app and Apple settings. No free trial or Family Sharing is promised here.

Applicable Apple terms

The app licence is Apple's standard EULA, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Apple's terms also govern transactions made through its services. This page explains the plan; it does not replace the contractual information shown at purchase.

Measurements and use

The hardware and Apple's permission determine the measurement range. Pro does not unlock any sensor access. A missing measurement must not be read as zero depth. Timer features do not indicate that it is safe to dive again. The app provides no decompression calculation, no emergency monitoring and no guaranteed accident prevention.

Respect the limits of your equipment, your training, appropriate supervision procedures and local fishing and species protection rules. Do not use the app as your only safety instrument.

Content and data

You remain responsible for imported content and shared exports. No public feed is offered in this version. Storage, deletion and contact details are described in the privacy policy. For any problem, see support.
